Have you ever wanted to play our games before anyone else and have the power to influence how our games are developed? At Pyramid Lake Games, community feedback is a core element of who we are.
By joining our playtesting program you get an early look at the games we’re working on. Your opinions matter.
How does our playtesting program work?
Playtesters get limited early access to private alpha and beta builds of games we are working on. Typically, our playtests will last a few days and run over a weekend.
We send out emails to our email subscribers and playtesters as new opportunities become available with details on the game, dates, and other information as necessary. You have the choice of joining a playtesting session or not. Totally up to you!
If you do join a session, we send you a game download key and request that you fill out a survey after playing the game.
What requirements are there to be a playtester?
You should be 16 or older, have fluency in English so that we may communicate instructions and collect feedback easily, and have access to a PC with a graphics card that can be used to play games. A gamepad is always recommended.
Do I need to sign anything?
Yes. We have a Playtester Agreement online form you will need to agree to. This ensures you do not share, stream, or discuss the games you are playtesting unless we explicitly say that you can. Why? Because sharing unfinished game videos, screenshots, or reviews will directly impact our ability to successfully launch that game later. You’re here to help remember? 🙂
Can I playtest remotely from my home?
Absolutely! Our team is fully remote. Playtesting should be the same. It’s not like you will be playing our games in our office at launch anyway, right? A big part of playtesting is to see how this works with your PC in your own environment.
